Art with Heart Campaign

The Art with Heart Campaign is my response to being distressed about the state of the world. I try to celebrate the beauty and the magic of the everyday, but I also often feel helpless in the face of what is happening in the world and to our planet. I often feel guilty that I’m not trying to do more to volunteer my time or money to causes that align with my values-but I have kids, a family, a job, and piles of never-ending laundry. It’s hard. So my experiment is this: Proceeds from new original art pieces will go towards causes that align with my values. After losing my home in the Eaton Fire, I was thrilled to sell some prints and raise over $2000 for local groups offering fire recovery aid. I’d love to expand my efforts to other varied causes. I plan to share the original art and organization I’ll be raising money for on my home page once a month and via my newsletter, as well as my social media platforms.
